Normal to Oily Skin
Oily skin is defined by an excess of oil production, called sebum. You may begin to feel greasy shortly after washing and worry about shine and blockages.
You may have:
- Enlarged pores
- Blocked Pores/Blemishes
- Oil needs attention throughout the day
- Blackheads & shine
- Oil transfers onto surfaces
- Disappearing Make-up
Oily skin may be made worse by:
- Washing more than twice a day
- Skipping Hydrators
- Scrubbing too hard
- Using pore-clogging products
- Using a harsh and aggressive toner
- Overusing a facial brush
- Oily makeup
- Stress
Tips for Oily Skin:
- Exfoliate 1-2x a week
- Use an alcohol-free toner
- Hydrate after washing
- Use sunscreen
- Scale back on makeup
- Avoid spicy foods
- Get plenty of vitamin A [carrots, cantaloupe, and spinach]
