The Nash & Jones line began out of necessity. After our babes were born, we all started having awful sensitivities to strong smells, scratchy touch and unnatural food ingredients so we adopted a more natural lifestyle.
This included changes to what we consumed on the inside AND the outside of our bodies.
We started a garden and crafted the first of many products we use daily.
We went back to the earth for naturally harvested ingredients to craft natural & effective solutions.
After all, what we put onto our skin also gets absorbed into the body.
We made a commitment to craft products that were not only amazing for our skin and bodies but performed even better than big box shelf alternatives.
Eliminate the Harmful
What we learned about the ingredients we had been using was shocking. We are appalled by what we were putting on/into our bodies through our skin. Many ingredients are known to be damaging, drying and cancel out benefits of good ingredients and yet they are widely used.
With so little ingredient regulation, it is easy to be won over by creative marketing and confused by buzz words. We want you to have all of the information you need to make an educated decision about what is right for you and your skin.
Replace with Nourishing Ingredients
We didn’t just eliminate harmful ingredients from our regimen, we replaced them with quality ingredients.
Our passion for consuming clean ingredients led us to craft and curate products to nourish our skin rooted in the amazing benefits of ingredients found from the earth including organic oils, essential oils, butters, beeswax, plants, trees, seeds and roots. We also partner with products from around the world that are harvested from the earth like sea sponges, agave and konjac.
Experience Freedom
Our skin produces oils that hydrate, aid our skin’s healthy cell life cycle and even clean out our pores. We have committed to finding and creating products to help the skin to do what it does best and not interrupt that natural process. Our goal and is to employ the highest quality, non-comedogenic oils and complimentary ingredients/products to nourish skin, encourage skin regeneration and keep pores clean and bright. Â
Your skincare regimen does not have to be cumbersome nor excessively expensive. We believe that consistency and nourishing ingredients are keys to healthy skin.
What we put ON our skin is what we FEED our skin
Our skin needs healthy ingredients just as our bodies need healthy food ingredients.
We believe in nourishing skin with ingredients from the earth without chemical preservatives, perfumes or fillers added.
No Petroleum
Instead of Petroleum, we use Beeswax to draw and seal the nourishing ingredients into skin. Petroleum, or crude oil, is a fossil fuel. When used in skincare, it sits on top of the skin, tricking it into thinking it got hydrated.
No Dyes
Instead of Dyes, we celebrate the Natural Color of Natural Ingredients. Dyes used in cosmetics are often synthetic chemicals and it takes a synthetic cocktail to create just one. They are skin irritants and unnecessary.
Earth Derived
We choose cold-pressed, expeller-pressed and steam-distilled oils and essential oils as well as plants and roots that are renewable. Our ingredients come from the earth and nourish with naturally occurring vitamins and minerals.
No Fillers
Instead of fillers, we use concentrated formulas that our skin recognizes and the ingredients are able to sink deep. We don’t see the value in creating more volume, but rather concentrated quality that you can use less of for each application.
No Perfumes
Instead of Perfumes, we use Essential Oils to create scent. Perfume Oils are inexpensive toxic chemical cocktails that sting noses, stress the immune system and can even create illness. Essential oils not only smell wonderful but have added benefits for skin.
No Mineral Oil
Instead of mineral oil we use nourishing oils that sink deep to feed skin. Mineral oil is a petroleum by-product that sits on top of skin and clogs pores. It is inexpensive oil yet it costs the skin dearly.
What is the actual cost of using toxic ingredients?
Products with engineered ingredients can be seductively inexpensive or marketed as elite with an inflated price tag.
What is their actual value if they leave us with empty promises, blemishes, dull skin, signs of aging,
hormone disruption, allergic reactions, a complicated beauty routine and/or worry of long-term consequences?

We are Leaping Bunny Certified. We don’t test on animals. In fact, everything we craft or adopt are products we wish to use ourselves, so your testers are us.
Responsibly Harvested
We partner with companies that employ sustainable methods to harvest natural ingredients in a responsible manner. For example, we use bamboo as a staple in our products and partner with a family owned and operated company of divers for our sea sponges.
Derived Naturally
We choose cold-pressed, expeller-pressed and steam-distilled oils and essential oils as well as naturally cleaned and deodorized beeswax instead methods that use chemicals to extract and clean ingredients.
Nourishing Earth
We use ingredients that come from the earth and nourish with naturally occurring vitamins and minerals. They have a shelf life shorter than conventional skincare products because of their real ingredients. Much like fruits and veggies vs processed foods.

Our company goes way beyond crèmes, cleansers and sponges. Those are the tools that lead up to meeting and loving others. They open us to conversations about self worth and truth. The products are an extension of our arms that give you a hug when we aren’t there.
